Agreed, all riders should be able to stop before their event horizon. So if you can't whip blind corners on crowded paths if you would hit someone who is a the worst spot on the turn. I ride a lot of bike paths. I don't like hollering or ringing. I just slow down and let people hear my hub if need be. They can take their time.
