Living in Toronto, I bought a pair of gloves (can't recall the name right now) that were "touchscreen friendly". They were something like $20 bucks and they look good IMO (look like average grey wool gloves). I also make use of a pair of headphones with a control dongle to answer/reject/end calls and/or increase volume.
