I recommended finding people that don't think in terms of "this is toxic, and that is toxic" They throw the word around like it's a catch all to excuse their bad behavior when they should realize the only "toxic" person here is them Also it's not cancel culture; picking better friends is not cancelling someone. I'm not recommending trying to get them fired or saying awful things about them. Just find better friends who don't see the world in such a narrow view that they can only claim things they don't like as "toxic".
