Belarus diversion echoes prior Ukrainian incident involving Belavia 737
- maratc 5y agoIn the Ukrainian incident, the plane originated from Ukraine, and the arrested person was released after 3 hours. In this incident, the plane was neither originating from nor destined to Belarus; it just happened to pass through its airspace. Also, the detained blogger is currently "cooperating with the police" with a bruise on his forehead. I'd say these cases are not similar at all.
