If you read to the bottom of the Twitter thread, it's pretty consistent with what we're hearing here. It sounds like they're both saying there were lots of near-disasters, but these were overcome, and the app successfully shipped - however at the cost of burnout in the team. I wouldn't say either is putting a more positive or negative spin on it than the other.
