If you lives in China you will know Muslim and all other minority is privileged in China. Yet the media likes to render them as slaves.
Then they can show they are the only humanist.
- gher-shyu3i 5y agoThe Uighur Muslims are forbidden from practicing their religion, and are force fed pork and wine. They're prohibited from fasting in Ramadhan. They are exploited in factories. This is well known, don't deny it.
- jhvkjhk 5y agoAdding "This is well known, don't deny it" won't make your saying automatically turns to truth. Let me show you some number, there are 24 thousands masjids in Xinjiang now (only 1.4 thousands in 1980s). If their religion is forbidden, why the number of masjids is growing?
- bobiny 5y agoDo you have a source on the numbers? I found a 2020 article stating that ~16000 mosques (65%) were destroyed, mostly since 2017 https://www.aspi.org.au/report/cultural-erasure https://www.aspi.org.au/report/cultural-erasure

- bobiny 5y agoThere are no independent reporters in China to verify govt claims.
- jhvkjhk 5y ago> ASPI is ... founded by the Australian government and partly funded by the Australian Department of Defence. In addition to domestic funding, it is also funded by foreign governments such as the United States State Department as well as military contractors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Strategic_Policy_Institute https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Strategic_Policy_In... You think ASPI can be considered as independent reporters?
- bobiny 5y agoNo. I mean government claims could be independently verified if there is free press in a country.
