Windows Phone failed, but its design stood the test of time
- omegabravo 5y agoIt was fast, cheap and the integration was great. Until the apps with the actual integration took offence. One problem was Windows Phone made facebook (big at the time) a service. I could check on people without loading facebook. Youtube also took offence to the Windows Phone IIRC. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/appsblog/2013/aug/15/google-disables-windows-phone-youtube-app https://www.theguardian.com/technology/appsblog/2013/aug/15/...
