After seeing the response from Western countries, (delays, denialism, half measures, etc.) I really doubt we would have done any better. Probably worse.
- LatteLazy 5y agoWe already did much better: we never created a pandemic in the first place. You don't need to be great at dealing with plagues if you don't make them. That's the take away here, China can be as denialist as we are, but they have to fix their food hygiene (and lab security maybe?)... (none of this excuses how shit my government, UK, have performed)
