Ask HN: Interested in Online Web Development Bootcamp?

Hi all, I have been a software engineer for 12 years both in Sydney and Silicon Valley. I have been teaching software engineering full-time for the last two years. I teach 3 month web development bootcamps through McKinsey/Generation. I am currently producing a 6 month full stack web development bootcamp for YouTube. The topics that will be covered: - HTML - CSS - Javascript - React - Node - Databases - Cloud computing I strongly believe that quality education should be readily available to all so I want to make the content available for free on YouTube. For most people doing a video by themselves online is a little challenging. I want to create a very low-cost bootcamp. My goal is just to cover my rent and basic expenses - $3000/month. If I can find 30 people to join this bootcamp then it would be $100/month each. For $100/month you will get: - 6 months of full stack web-development content - 15 hours per week of group lectures - 1 hour per week of 1:1 mentoring - Ask questions online - Post bootcamp mentoring and job search help If you are interested or want more information please email me at anindha@gmail.com.
