Reminds me of RobotWar, a 1981 game from Muse software that ran on Apple 2s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RobotWar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RobotWar I taught kids how to program this game in the early 1980s. I never expected commodity neural nets to be applied to the concept by hackers, 40 years later. Far out. Fun fact, it was written by Silas Warner, the man that invented Castle Wolfenstein.
