It is, however, based on Tesseract which works well on clean or scanned documents, but isn’t very good for text “in the wild” like street signs and not-parallel-to-view images. The Mac program uses VisionKit which does handle these cases better (not as well as google cloud vision from my outdated experience but way better than tesseract)
