California’s Uber and Lyft drivers must start switching to electric vehicles
- morpheos137 5y agoI am sure they will love charging when they could be getting a fare. A taxi driver can easily drive 5-600 miles a day if operating in suburbia. Can EVs keep up?

- _xerces_ 5y agoSo the drivers who barely break even will have to purchase new vehicles that are on average $19k more expensive? Let's assume there is enough charging infrastructure in place, CA is hardly a poster child for reliable electricity distribution.
