Unrelated, but does anyone know what happens to employee options if there is an exit before the employee's start date?
- ferdowsi 5y agoDepends if the employee has signed an options agreement and those options have been approved by the board. At a recent gig I started up a few weeks before an exit. My options had not yet officially been granted by the board. My company granted my equity but they didn't have to.
