It looks like the company is just following their standard recruiting process, i.e. he just wants to "see" you before you are hired. I would wonder if he really could ask you challenging questions related to your future role as a frontend developer.
The positive thing: You seem to have done a great job in the previous two interviews, otherwise you would already be out.
So, stay relaxed and all the best! :-)

- codingdave 5y agoIf a Director of PM is getting into the technical weeds on an interview, I'd see that as a red flag. PMs role is about what to build, and when to build it, not how. So if they are diving deep into engineering, they may not have well established roles and boundaries in the organization, or may not have much tech leadership at all.
- 2bor-2n 5y agoFrom the initial interview I got a very positive vibe about the company. The company is remote and have more than 70 employees from all over the world, their product is also pretty solid. The director of PD is actually from my home country, so I guess the interview would be to see how good a fit I am and what kind of dev processes do I follow, he might ask some technical questions here and there. The HR might not be know exactly what kind of questions he would ask so that's why she might have assumed that it would be a very technical interview. P.S I already completed my test assignment and had a technical interview with their FE dev.
