This is a great idea that I'm glad to see exist.
I've been trying to write more, about an email a month keeping my family updated with my life. I've thought about making a blog but I found a better alternative.
I've got a blog for technical projects where I can control the nitty gritty HTML but what I want is a platform for writing that (a) syncs between my devices which email drafts do well (b) has no-fuss support for images and (c) has a very low barrier for responses, my family can simply press reply (I BCC most emails).
Not sure if Moogle ticks all of those boxes yet but I'm glad to see the innovation and I'm going to keep it in mind!
- saimiam 5y agoIt doesn’t support “reply-to-comment” of the type you seem to want. But other than that, I found myself dashing off blogposts simply because it was so much simpler to do it from my gmail. And like you said, gmail has drafts and your original post sits in your SENT folder, ready to pasted verbatim to another platform should you tire of Moogle. If “Reply-to-post” is something you want to see, I’m sure we can figure something out.
