Really? Don't be surprised when you manipulate the political sphere outside your walls in ways never seen in the history of the world and that politic creeps inside and devours you from within.
- whoisthemachine 5y agoI don't disagree with your general sentiment, but companies (unreasonably large ones especially) have certainly manipulated the political sphere "outside their walls" in such ways for a long time. See East India Company, Standard Oil, etc. See also the Gilded Age for a time that is very reminiscent of the times we live in today [0]. - justbored123 5y agoBuddy, have you heard about lobbyist??? You really need to get out of your own bubble. Manipulating the "political sphere outside your walls" is what companies do from time immemorial. And the idea that propaganda online is more influential that literally writing the laws and legally bribing the politicians that the people that propaganda is supposed to influence voted is simply laughable.
