- msbarnett 5y agoWhen loops that aren’t designed to overflow cheerfully wrap, they mostly just execute millions of unintended iterations reading or writing before the beginning of arrays they were indexing. That’s not an airbag, that’s a crumple zone that rams the steering column through your sternum to avoid the engine crushing your legs. You’re still dead, we’ve just uselessly shuffled the details around.
