Conclusions: turn off lights, or put them on motion-detection switches, and use red lights. So I can see the stars I turned off the outside lights long ago. Neighbors still light-pollute throughout the night, sadly. As I get to know them better I intend to ask them to change, maybe even offering the hardware. If you keep lights on outside at night, why?
