Its a well known problem for any type of infection and or vaccination in the area. They just wanted to write a sensationalist Covid story. It's annoying because there are significantly more relevant stories about ... well just about anything.
And since there are enough people just reading the headlines, its just fodder for anti vax conspiracies. You have to read the article to the very end to see that this is just very short term problem which is well known (by any competent radiologist/ob/gyn).
- AndrewBissell 5y ago> Radiologists have long known that a recent dose of vaccine for shingles, tetanus or flu can cause lymph nodes to appear slightly swollen. But the sudden appearance of so many swollen lymph nodes, in so many women, came as a shock. In many cases, so was the size of the swelling. The article expresses a measure of surprise because radiologists are. And the degree of lymph node swelling is just one more side effect on the pile (including changes in menses and the rate of anaphylactic reactions) which makes it clear these vaccines are not "just like all those others."
