The government has disrupted that labor side the other way giving HUGE handouts essentially to walmart, by having a system where walmart pays little taxes, pays tiny wages, and has a workforce that's subsidized by welfare. Seems to me it's only fair, that maybe the gov't tip their hand towards the supply side lowering supply and raising demand thus driving up wages organically without even needing to consider minimum wage laws.
