Feature phones are distinct from dumb phones. Feature phone usually implies there is a suite of built in programs. It will have a note keeping application, an image viewer/gallery view, sometimes (rarely) email, a mp3 player, a handful of games which for some inexplicable reason always includes Snake, etc.
