That's an awful lot of money to spend on patents unless they plan on aggressively pursuing violators of it.
- JanezStupar 15y agoIt will be really interesting to see what Google's next move will be. Since the competitors had to stretch themselves for this one, will this continue as a game of attrition (through various legal and acquisition costs)? And I suspect that this was a really bad move in this context on the side of Google's competitors. Oh and I am well aware that these companies got loads of cash on hand. But it can't last forever.
