Interesting read, but I can easily come up with way more complicated scenarios. Imagine inheriting the house of your dying relative who forgot to unlock the key. Or needing to split the inheritance with your siblings ... according to local law. Leaving Blockchain aside, it would be cool if clearing house, such as Euroclear, would record -- but not decide -- ownership of non-financial assets too. Think houses, cars, bikes, artwork, everything!
