Kind of a strawman. AFAIK most NFTs are actual digital assets which can be copied, and in general people are not claiming that blockchain is magically going to enforce itself.
BUT, blockchains may replace Patreon and the like, by offering the satisfaction of connection to art, and the ability to prove it.
- armoredkitten 5y agoThe article is not talking about NFTs, it's talking about the use of blockchain for tracking real, physical goods. Some of it may also be relevant for discussing NFTs. But the article is not about NFTs.
- colinmhayes 5y agoNFTs were originally called deeds. They were designed for this exact use case.
