Interesting, I've always been reticent to host my own instance because of how complex Synapse is to setup for the uninitiated. Hopefully Dendrite makes it simpler.
- dtakuma 5y agoDoing the steps required manually was a little of a pain. I've found using an ansible playbook like https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy to be the easiest way to setup a homeserver.
- vlmutolo 5y agoI bet Conduit is going to be the easiest to deploy once it's finished. It's a single binary (with the database included).
