The Octopus Teacher’s Student
- bfuller 5y agoThis was one of the saddest movies I've ever seen.
- lisper 5y agoWhy sad? I thought it was rather inspiring.
- ggm 5y agoThey have increadibly short lives for such intelligent creatures. We eat them and in many cultures the death is horrific by any standard: eviscerated, and beaten to soften the flesh in an organism with a widely distributed brain. The environment they live in is fragile, damaged and shrinking but is beautiful.
- lisper 5y agoOK, fair enough, but that's not really the movie per se. That's just the life of octopi in general, which I grant you is very sad.

- geocrasher 5y agoAdam Savage just posted a video the other day about his favorite life experience that he didn't think he'd done if not for MythBusters. And it was? Getting to know an octopus! It's a great video, but I also learned something: It's "octopusses" not "octopi". But after watching this, I want to meet an octopus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-0bBTuLAR8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-0bBTuLAR8

- ncmncm 5y agoThis person has no interest in nature, and is interested only in belittling other people, imagining that makes her bigger.
- TooCleverByHalf 5y agoTheir intonation was tough to get past I will say that.
