Ransomware will target whichever is the dominant platform. If more companies switch to Linux it's not like there haven't been 0 days there before that could have been exploited.
IMHO, reducing it to "stop using windows!" is a crude reduction of the forces behind this.
- whydoyoucare 5y agoThe inherent difference in design philosophies of both operating systems will make it arguably difficult to target Linux in the same manner Windows is being targeted today.
