Ask HN: Should I consistently follow up HR about my interview decision?
Hi,
I gave a couple of interviews for a frontend post at a company which is fully remote. After giving my final interview I followed up 2 days letter and asked the hiring specialist about their decision. She told me the management is still in the decision making process.
It's been a week now and I haven't heard anything from her again. Is it fine to follow her up again and ask where they are in the hiring process or have they selected someone else over me?
- metaloha 5y agoIt can take several weeks to go through the process (depending on the size of the bureaucracy and number of applicants - and number of "fake" applicants), but a weekly check-in should be acceptable, especially if they haven't set any expectations as to the time frame.
