If your home has the appropriate electric supply, then yes, but there's lots of places in the world with poor electricity distribution.
The future of transportation seems likely to be a mix of electric, hydrogen, and diesel, depending on the use case for a long time to come.
- prennert 5y agoI don't know if there is data to support this, but k have heard hydrogen proponents say that even in London it would be difficult to charge all cars, because the grid could not handle it. So fully electric cars for everybody might not be practical in high density environments.
