Should encryption be curbed to combat child abuse?

  Anyone who knows the U.K. justice system will know their excuse of preventing child abuse is rubbish. Police in the U.K. have no trouble as it is finding pedos, it’s too easy currently. The problem is that after being caught, most of the time they don’t get jail time and if they do it’s for a few months or maximum a year or two. If the U.K. truly cared about this matter, they would increase the jail time.

      Not the OP, but I would hope that it would serve as a deterrent? If not, at least get them away from vulnerable children.

  This is emotional lowballing - would somebody please think of the children - type of manipulation. The answer is definitely no.
