"until what end?" A very useful question. In any disagreement, it's important to answer both "What would change my mind?" and "How will I know I am done/have won?" Without answers to both of those, it is difficult to win over anyone who doesn't already agree. The first question shows that one is acting in informed good faith. The second lets people know exactly what they are being asked to agree with.
