Interesting story about how Apple is moving encryption keys to China
- rektide 5y agoNot a fan of this variety of Think Different. Strange juxtaposition to an Apple that, across the rest of the world, claims to be fighting a good moral fight for the users.

- pixiemaster 5y agoApple follows Chinas law when doing business in china. News at 11. And yes, I do think that Chinas censorship, mass surveillance, and minority oppression are bad, but I don’t expect apple to change that. Yes, they could choose not doing business in China, but is that realistic? Am I wrong?
- emptyparadise 5y agoIt would be business as usual if Apple wasn't hyping privacy and security up so much in their marketing: https://www.apple.com/privacy/ https://www.apple.com/privacy/ They can do whatever they want in China, but maybe they should update that opening sentence to read "Privacy is a fundamental human right for anyone not residing in the People's Republic of China."
- pixiemaster 5y agoOK, that makes sense. thanks.
