Big deal. I was getting that on a VT-220 terminal connected with RS-232.
- jfrunyon 5y agoThe VT-220 appears from quick Googling to max out at 19200 baud, or < 2 full screen (80x24) "draws" per second. ;) (Although I assume nethack is more clever than just "re-send the whole screen for every change".)
- B1FF_PSUVM 5y agoHey, but the frames are redrawn at AC line frequency. No one said anything about the data changing ... (and yeah, I believe it only sent data for the delta.)
