Show HN: I made a visual exploration of Ranked Choice Voting
- vb42 5y agoHi everyone! I'm a big fan of Ranked Choice Voting, so I built a data visualization of the voting system and how it compares to what we use currently. It walks you through how Ranked Choice Voting works, and then lets you simulate elections to visually see the differences. I'd love any feedback!
- perilunar 5y agoNice animations! > "how it compares to what we use currently" Speak for yourself. Ranked Choice is used in many part of the world already. I have never voted in an election with single-choice voting (and I always vote).
- vb42 5y agoThank you for checking it out! And yes, you're right. This was written with the United States in mind, which has not rolled out ranked choice voting on a large scale like other countries.
