I wonder if the partnerships just fundamentally don't work if you aren't NVIDIA. Running games on servers require more expensive GPUs/performance from NVIDIA than their consumer GeForce cards. And Google faces another disadvantage: NVIDIA has leverage with game companies that use their technology, Microsoft publishes games, but Google doesn't have such leverage with popular games.
