I used to be a full-stack developer 5 years ago, and while I wasn't an expert I was pretty good with front-end development. Recently I've started picking up a new side project, and I'm absolutely gobsmacked how far front-end development has gotten in just 5 years. It's a completely new landscape. It feels like I'm having to learn it all from scratch again.
