Bad for users because the only way to install these software now is to build from source. All of the removed formulae is open source software, and now these software have no place in Homebrew either as formulae or Casks. Besides, the FUSE formulae would've been removed even if OSXFUSE / macFUSE were open source. The real reason these formulae were removed was because the Homebrew maintainers wanted to remove the ability for Homebrew formulae to depend on Casks. Since OSXFUSE / macFUSE can never be packaged as a Homebrew formula, the removal would've went through regardless.
