- pclmulqdq 5y agoThe tools are awful and software people don't know how good they have it. However, the tools also do a ton of optimization for you, and so it's somewhat justified that they take a long time to run.
- detaro 5y agoGive the open-source toolchains a go some time. Yes, they only cover some FPGA models and can't make use of all the features, but the dev workflow is sooo much nicer. And they are constantly improving.
