It is interesting to see that in the most egalitarian countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland) you still find that almost all engineers are male, and almost all nurses are female. Not because of lack of STEM skills (woman in general do as well as men in math) but because of differences in interests. In those countries, When free to choose, woman and men in general make different choices.
