The original Xbox lost $5-7 billion in 5 years Epic games has lost $593m on the Epic Game Store in 3 years Apple invested $500m in Apple Arcade (and that was on an existing hardware install base). I couldn't find how much Google has spent on Stadia, but it doesn't seem to have approached it as the long-term, expensive investment that it required.
