Zero tax, and they are going to make trillions? from double dosing (this year) a large percentage of the planet.
I'd like to suggest that all the bailouts governments are giving to the people of their countries be paid for by a large, one off, donation from those companies who have increased their business to a level where they can afford the donation and still be massively in the green.
Amazon, Deliveroo, all supermarkets who lapped up the business of small shops with no delivery options, there were a lot of financial winners from this horrible event.
The taxpayer shouldn't have to repay all this government help.
Taxing these companies would create a lasting burden as a knee-jerk reaction to the problem. A one off payment gives the accountants time to find the loopholes in the new system, as all good accountants do.
Someone has to pay for the pandemic handouts; why the people who received them and not the businesses who profited from them?
