Costa Rica uses vague places, distances and compass directions as addresses
- ggeorgovassilis 5y agoThe situation used to be similar in the Philippines and Indonesia a decade ago. I worked on an application for managing real estate; mapping property to addresses was challenging as a formal address would literally state "Jl. Muhamad 123, ask at the 7/11 for Babu's house".
- spdnk 5y agoIndia is the same way today. The addresses there will be like "across from the atm"
