“Piracy” (copyright infringement) is a legal construct. It has very little to do with either morals or metaphysics. Yes, legally, it is copyright infringement to make copies not authorized by the copyright holder. Morally I would claim the entire concept of copyright is wrong and the cause of far more evil than any extra copy could ever match. Metaphysically I would say the law is just silly since the legal definition of what constitutes a copy has so very little to do with physics. Edit: This comment was also silly. Let’s not start a debate on copyright. Keep the discussion focused on quake.
