At my school (Macalester), we use git(and GitHub classrooms) in the intro class. It doesn't have to include the more complex stuff like rebase, merge conflict.

At my school (Macalester), we use git(and GitHub classrooms) in the intro class. It doesn't have to include the more complex stuff like rebase, merge conflict. This way, as a TA, I can also code review them and it also deters plagarization.
