Sleep Tight (2008)
- nemo1618 5y agoMan, I was hoping this would be about how sleeping outside is better for your health, and how to achieve that comfortably in the modern world.
- kokanator 5y agoThat makes two of us! I do find sleeping with the window(s) open produces better sleep and next day alertness. I was really hoping this was a study regarding this.
- azornathogron 5y agoHave you tried getting a CO2 sensor and measuring CO2 levels over night with and without the window open?
- kokanator 5y agoI haven't. But I am going to order one and see. It would certainly make sense that they are elevated when the windows are closed. Thanks for the thought.
- egypturnash 5y agoDamn this is some illegible font choices.
- devenblake 5y agoYou can always tweak the CSS yourself or disable it altogether. Or use Lynx, in which this site looks fine.
- rajlego 5y agoWhat's Lynx?
- azaras 5y agoA console web browser.
- djmips 5y agoWon't it be great when everyone is rendering directly to the canvas!
- egypturnash 5y agoThis is the most impractically Hacker News advice I have received in this site in at least a year.
- devenblake 5y agoAs much as I would like to take that award I don't think it fares well given how many "Just buy this $400 gadget..." comments there are here. It's dumb to have to change a site's code to be able to read it. But if you know how to, and the font is a big enough problem... so what? Maybe other people like the font choice. It was advice targeted towards its likely viewership.
- psychovertical 5y agoAsk and you will receive - font changed (I've been trying to go web 1.0).
- egypturnash 5y agoMuch better, thanks! If you want everything to work as the same monospaced font, you're gonna need to spend some time playing with bold, and more importantly, playing with white space.
