In some sense I agree but in another, as a user, I don't want Canadian stuff to be recommended to me because it's Canadian. I want content to succeed by merit alone at least when it comes to the internet. Do I care that some YouTuber is a Canadian? Not really.
- vibrolax 5y agoI think it would be nice if we could search media content by country of origin. I'm a US citizen living in Canada, and I anecdotally feel that YouTube recommends lots of Canadian content, but not nearly as high a percentage as the broadcasters are required to do.
