Australia is an interesting point on that chart since less than ten years ago its debt was around the same as Spain or Canada. I think it had a minerals boom that brought in large surpluses.
- Estragon 15y agoIt also had really good governance for a while, under Rudd. Shame the mining companies had to take him out.
