Magnetic Declination
- peter_retief 5y agoI posted this because I spent the weekend at a coastal town called Agulhas The name "Agulhas", Portuguese for "needles", is said to have been given to the cape because the compass-needle was seen to point due north, that is, with no magnetic deviation. This was in the 1500's the current deviation is over 20 degrees east.
