- eyelidlessness 5y agoTypeScript keeps getting better, great work! I do have a quibble though... I mentioned this on the beta thread, hoping someone on the TS team sees this: it’s confusing that the “always truthy promise” check is under `strictNullChecks`. Those concerns are completely unrelated. The example doesn’t even involve a Promise which resolves to a nullable type. Is there some rationale to this that I’m missing? Not that I want to ask for more config surface area, but I expect this will be especially confusing/surprising/easy to miss for people who don’t follow TS releases closely.
