There are a lot of teenagers who are interested in cryptocurrency, but I think relatively few of them are actually mining themselves, and an even smaller subset of them understand much of the cryptography at work. I'm speaking from experience; I mined some Dogecoin in high school, but at that point I was just barely learning for-loops.
